Middle School is the stage in which children begin to deepen their understanding of their own faith. During this stage students are transitioning from childhood to adolescents which includes a desire to explore moral and ethical issues. They start to ask deeper questions and begin integrating their faith into their daily lives.
At FHS we foster a supportive, open environment where students can ask questions and teachers can lead them to a closer walk with the Lord.
Middle school friendships are a crucial part of a young student's development. They offer opportunities for emotional growth, and social learning. With peer pressure, social dynamics, and conflict being a part of daily life, FHS will help students navigate these based on the truths of God's Word.
By learning how to build trust, manage conflicts, and support each other, middle schoolers can form lasting, healthy friendships that contribute to their overall well-being.
Middle school classes at FHS are designed to meet each child's individual needs while fostering academic growth. Our teachers provide a variety of instructional methods, promoting collaboration, and focusing on both academic and social skills. With the Bible woven in throughout our curriculum, students can see God's hand in everything.
Middle school curriculum focuses on Bible, English, Math (pre-algebra and algebra), Reading, Spelling, Earth and Life Sciences, Social Studies (including government and geography), and writing.
